About the job HubSpot Systems & Integration Architect

Job Title: HubSpot Systems & Integration Architect

Role Summary

We are seeking a HubSpot Systems Architect located in LATAM with a deep technical understanding of the HubSpot engine to lead our CRM's transformation into a high-performance, relational business database. You will not be managing campaigns; instead, you will architect the data schemas, object associations, and API-driven integrations required to connect HubSpot with our proprietary software ecosystem and our AWS Data Lake.

Your goal is to ensure HubSpot acts as a scalable, reliable "Source of Truth" for our global operations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Data Architecture & Governance (The Engine)

  • Design and govern the internal data model using Custom Objects, HubDB, and advanced property schemas to reflect complex business entities (e.g., Multi-country Dealer Networks and Serialized Hardware).
  • Implement Automation Governance frameworks for Enterprise-level portals (350+ workflows) to prevent race conditions, circular dependencies, and property-write conflicts.
  • Define and document the Object Association Schema to ensure data integrity across the entire lifecycle, from contract signing to financial reporting.

2. Integration Engineering & API Orchestration

  • Lead technical integrations with third-party services like DocuSign and internal proprietary systems using REST APIs and Webhooks.
  • Build and maintain high-performance synchronization flows through middleware platforms (e.g., n8n, Celigo, or Make), managing API rate limits and data concurrency.
  • Develop and deploy Custom-Coded Actions (JavaScript/Node.js) within HubSpot Workflows to handle complex data transformations that native tools cannot address.

3. Data Lake Connectivity & SQL Strategy

  • Architect the pipeline to export structured, clean data from HubSpot into an AWS Data Lake.
  • Collaborate with Data Engineering teams to define ETL/ELT requirements, ensuring the HubSpot schema maps perfectly to SQL tables.
  • Audit data quality at the source to prevent "dirty data" from entering the warehouse, ensuring 100% accuracy for C-suite reporting.

Technical Requirements (Must-Haves)

  • HubSpot Technical Expertise: Advanced knowledge of Custom Objects, HubDB, and the underlying CRM database structure.
  • Programming Skills: Proficiency in Node.js/JavaScript or Python for building custom integrations and programmable automation.
  • API Mastery: Extensive experience working with HubSpots v3/v4 APIs, OAuth 2.0, and Webhook architectures.
  • SQL Foundations: Strong understanding of relational databases and the ability to write complex queries to validate data integrity.
  • Middleware Experience: Hands-on experience with iPaaS tools (e.g., n8n, Celigo, Workato) to orchestrate cross-platform data flows.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Revenue Operations (RevOps) in B2B or SaaS environments.
  • Familiarity with Oracle NetSuite (specifically SuiteQL) is a significant plus.
  • Background in Systems Engineering or Computer Science.
