ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

Committed Staff is seeking 2–3 Mid-Level QA Automation Engineers to join a fast-growing

technology company in the automotive SaaS space. The client builds GPS, telematics, and AIpowered platforms that help automotive dealerships manage their operations more efficiently. You

will be embedded in a product engineering team responsible for ensuring quality across web

applications, APIs, and AI-driven features.

This is a long-term engagement offering the chance to work with modern tooling, contribute to a

quality-first culture, and grow your expertise in AI-assisted QA methodologies.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end automated test suites using Playwright.

Perform functional, regression, integration, and API testing across web and mobile surfaces.

Collaborate with developers and product managers to define acceptance criteria and test

plans.

Leverage AI-powered QA tools and methodologies to improve test coverage and efficiency.

Identify, document, and track defects through their full lifecycle.

Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar).

Contribute to QA best practices, standards, and documentation within the team.

Participate in sprint ceremonies including planning, refinement, and retrospectives.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

2–4 years of experience in QA automation roles.

Solid hands-on experience with Playwright (TypeScript or JavaScript preferred).

Understanding of software testing methodologies: unit, integration, E2E, and regression.

Experience writing and maintaining test cases for web applications.

Familiarity with REST API testing (Postman, REST Assured, or similar).

Experience integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Good communication skills in English (written and spoken).

NICE TO HAVE

Experience with AI-assisted QA tools (e.g., Testim, Mabl, Applitools, or LLM-based test

generation).

Knowledge of performance or load testing tools (k6, Artillery, Locust).

Exposure to mobile testing (iOS/Android via Playwright or Appium).

Background in automotive, IoT, telematics, or SaaS products.

Familiarity with accessibility testing standards (WCAG).

Experience with BDD frameworks (Cucumber, Gherkin).

CI/CD: GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or CircleCI

AI QA Tools: Testim, Mabl, Applitools, or equivalent (preferred)

Project Management: Jira, Linear, or similar
