WordPress Front-End Developer & UI/UX Designer

About the Role:

We are seeking a versatile, highly skilled professional who seamlessly bridges the gap between creative design and technical execution.

The ideal candidate will combine creativity, innovation, and technical knowledge to deliver effective digital solutions. You will be responsible for end-to-end website creation, bringing a strategic vision to both UX/UI design and front-end WordPress development. In addition to designing and building modern, intuitive interfaces, you will handle intermediate server-side WordPress management, database handling, and domain configurations.

Key Responsibilities:

* Lead the website layout and UX/Ul design phases, primarily utilizing Figma to create wireframes, interactive prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups prior to development.

* Design and develop dynamic, visually attractive, and responsive websites optimized for an excellent user experience.

* Build and customize WordPress environments heavily utilizing Elementor.

* Manage intermediate server-side operations and hosting environments, including website migrations, database management, domain mapping, and DNS configurations.

Focus on performance optimization and technical problem-solving to ensure websites are highly efficient and functional.

* Estimate project timelines, manage daily tasks using Agile (SCRUM) methodologies, and maintain effective communication with stakeholders.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

* Design Tools: Strong proficiency in Figma for all Ul/UX design and prototyping needs. Mastery of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) is also required.

* Web Development: Strong proficiency in HTML/HTML5, CSS/CSS3, and JavaScript.

* WordPress Expertise: Deep understanding of front-end WordPress development, including custom JavaScript integrations and familiarity with plugins like Crocoblock (JetPlugins).

* Server-Side & Backend Knowledge: Medium proficiency in PHP, My SQL, and phpMyAdmin. Solid experience navigating and managing hosting environments via Panel, including handling FTP/SFTP, file management, SSL certificate installations, and website migrations.

* Soft Skills: Proven ability in leadership, teamwork, time management, and client relations.

* Bilingual proficiency (English and Spanish) to effectively manage international projects and diverse brand bases.

Preferred Qualifications (Bonus):

* A Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design or a related field with a strong foundation in visual communication.

Previous experience developing e-learning modules or working within agency environments.
