Formwork Carpenter

Job specification

• unloading material from trucks
• cleaning returned material and strapping it for transport
• loading formwork onto trucks for removal
• ability to read shape/formwork drawings
• own equipment – drills, circular saws, string lines, drill bits, laser level, hammer, nails, safety harnesses
• installation of safety railings before steel fixers start work
• execution of openings and penetrations in walls and slabs
• knowledge of formwork systems – Doka, Peri, modular scaffolding
• knowledge of formwork stripping – timing and correct procedures
• site cleaning – sweeping and blowing off slabs before steel fixers start
• communication with the crane operator
• participation in meetings and planning

Candidate Requirement :

• Experience as a formwork carpenter, (with PERI or DOKA systém), ability to read drawings, manual skills, physical fitness, reliability

Educational Requirement

• Vocational or Secondary Education in construction field preferred.
