Job Description
- Oversee all aspects of product quality, safety, and regulatory compliance within our frozen tuna processing and export facility.
- Responsible for ensuring that all products consistently meet international food safety standards, regulatory requirements, and specific customer expectations.
- Lead the implementation and maintenance of HACCP, BRC, MSC and other global certification systems.
- Key responsibilities include managing the QA/QC team, ensuring sanitation and hygiene compliance, verifying processing standards, monitoring temperature controls, safeguarding traceability throughout the production chain, and coordinating closely with competent authorities, independent auditors, and buyer representatives on quality and food safety audits and certifications.
Candidate Requirement:
- Male or Female, 23-48 years old
- Must have a bachelors degree in Food Science, Fisheries, Quality Management, or a related discipline
- With a minimum of 5 years supervisory or managerial experience in seafood processing, ideally in a tuna export environment
- Must have extensive hands-on experience in fish raw material handling, tuna grading, processing and packing, cold-chain management, and export-quality assurance.
- With strong knowledge of international market-specific food safety standards is essential.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, solid documentation and audit skills, and strong leadership capability.
- Must be able to communicate very well in English and be confident in leading teams.
