Slicing Center Operator

Job Specification:

• large automatic sawmill Biesse Selco WNTR6 with rear material filling. Loading the machine can be difficult.
• The warehouse worker loads the pallet of material on the back loading of the machine, the machine pulls the materials inside and cuts according to the operator's instructions. The filling is used when it is necessary to cut the entire pallet amount of material.
• Possibility of filling from automatic warehouse that prepares pallets as they need to be cut. The automatic warehouse can work 24/7 and prepare a buffer of several pallet positions for cutting. The operator chooses whether he wants to guide pallets into the machine from the automatic warehouse or manually from the warehouse worker.
• Perform other tasks according to the supervisors instructions possible assistance in another department

Candidate Requirement

• request: min 2-4 years experience in production/ a carpenter or previous experience with woodworking machines, preferably automatic saws.
  
• Previous experience with operating a similar machine would be ideal, or experience with CNC
• Ability to quickly learn how to use software

• age: 25-43 years old
• Excellent knowledg of English language
• Manual dexterity, independence, performance, quality, timing, team spirit.
• A sense of quality and care.
  
• Ability to memorize workflows.
• Ability to work in two-shift operation.
• Ability to understand basic machine setup and logical reasoning.
• The ability to work in a team and independently. Physical fitness - good eyesight (visual inspection required).
• Ability to memorize work procedures.
• Willing to learn Czech language.
