Production Operator

Job specification

• performs final inspection and sorting according to quality.
• works with K-soft and WMS production programs (production records, label printing).
• complies with ČSN EN standards relating to the production of laminated boards
• takes samples of produced materials for laboratory testing
• checks production using measuring equipment (gloss meter, spectral photometer, thickness gauge)
• operates the board sorting control panel
• operates production equipment strictly according to the manufacturer's instructions
• cooperates with the press operator when replacing press plates
• complies with safety and other internal company regulations (OSH, HSE, FP)
• maintains order in the workplace
• cooperates in line repairs
• operates the strapping / packing line
• checks the correct operation of the device
• checking that the prepared packages are strapped correctly and evenly
• refilling steel strapping into boxes
• manually refilling wooden spacers into containers
• manually rearranging or manually strapping (for smaller quantities of boards in a package)
• manual realignment or strapping (with a smaller number of boards in the package)
• follows the device manufacturer's instructions exactly
• participates in equipment repairs
• cleaning area
• maintains order in the workplace
• observes the company's internal operating regulations
• participates in regular maintenance of the line
• checking and maintaining the proper technical condition of forklifts
• compliance with the manufacturer's regulations and safety rules
• the driver must have valid forklift driving tests, as stated in the forklift driver's license
• performs other tasks according to the supervisor's instructions, possible assistance in another department

Candidate Requirements:

• request: min. 4 years experience working in production / packing line
• men
• age: 25-43 years old
• excellent knowledge of English language
• manual dexterity, Independence, performance, quality, timing, team spirit
• good health / medicaly fit – Tone audiometry needed
• willing to learn Czech language
• long term cooperation
• willingness to work in shifts and overtimes
• forklift driving experience – advantage
• positive attitude and joy at work
