Team Leader Rail Vehicle Maintenance or Electrician

Job specification

Team Leader supervises and supports a small team of Rail Vehicle Mechanics or Electricians. This role combines leadership responsibilities with practical work on rail vehicles. The Team Leader will coordinate daily tasks, ensure compliance with safety and quality standards, and actively participate in maintenance and repair activities.

Candidate Requirement

• Lead and organize the work of mechanics and electromechanics
• Plan and assign tasks to ensure timely completion of projects
• Monitor work quality and adherence to technical documentation
• Provide technical guidance and assist team members during complex tasks
• Perform mechanical and electrical maintenance on rail vehicles when needed
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures and operational standards
• Maintain accurate records of work progress and resource usage 

Educational Requirement

Education:

• Completed electrical engineering high school.
• Additional certifications in rail vehicle maintenance or electrical systems are an advantage
• Leadership course is an advantage.

Experience:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in rail vehicle maintenance and/or electro engeneering.
• Ability to pass the exam fro Czech Electrical safety law (in English language) or Certificate from this exam.
• Proven ability to work on complex systems (bogies, braking systems, couplers, electrical wiring)
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience in a technical team is strongly preferred
• Hands-on approach with strong problem-solving skills
