Production Operator (Wood Worker) / Trailer Truck Driver

PRODUCTION OPERATOR

• The initial job will be as production operator in a woodworking operation. Upon successfully passing and obtaining a professional Czech driving license, transition to Trailer Truck Driver (approximately 190 days after arrival to Czech Republic).
• quality control, work as assigned by a superior.
• simple manual work, feeding, sorting of cuttings and other material in production
• Stacking and sorting of lumber
• filling the planning line
• checking the fullness of crates, replacing boxes
• regular cleaning of the workplace
• forklift handing
• other simple auxiliary work in production

TRAILER TRUCK DRIVER

• Working operations / shift up to AETR. = European Agreement concerning the work of crews of vehicles engaged in international road transport.
• Key rules (according to the AETR agreement and Regulation 561/2006)
• Daily driving time: Maximum 9 hours, with the possibility of extending to 10 hours twice a week.
• Mandatory break: after a maximum of 4.5 hours of continuous driving, the driver must take a break of at least 45 minutes.
• Weekly driving time:  Maximum 56 hours per week, a total of 90 hours per two weeks.

• national and international transport
• overseeing loading and unloading processes according to the plan and dispatcher.
• operation of new tractors with semi-trailers or truck combinations

Candidate requirements

• Minimum 4 years experience as trailer truck driver
• Men: 23-45 age - strong health
• experience with forklifts - an advantage
• operation of a manual electric pallet truck - an advantage
• manual dexterity
• excellent health
• independence, diligence, willingness to learn new skills and the Czech Language
