Handyman

Job specifications

• Performing routine technical maintenance of hotel rooms, common areas and hotel facilities
• Repairing minor defects (doors, locks, windows, furniture, tiles, paving)
• Basic painting and decorating work
• Checking and maintaining lighting, replacing light bulbs and fixtures
• Simple electrical work as part of repairs (under supervision or within the permitted scope)
• Basic plumbing work (replacing batteries, siphons, repairing minor water leaks)
• Maintenance and checking of hotel technical equipment according to the instructions of the superior
• Taking care of the hotel's exterior areas (minor repairs, furniture maintenance, seasonal work)
• Helping with the preparation of spaces for events (moving tables, chairs and conference equipment)
• Reporting defects and keeping basic records of the work performer
• occasional help in other department after deal with supervisor

Candidates requirements

Men:

• 22 – 40 years old
• min. 4 years of experiences as a handyman, facility maintenance or similar
• Working with tools, machines, equipments for the profession
• Know how using garden tools and machines = advantage
• excellent knowledge of English language
• Independence, performance, quality, timing, team spirit
• Non smoker
• Driving license for personal car is an advantage
• Good health / medicaly fit
• Willing to learn Slovak language
• desire to work and learn new things
