Pay Rate: $70,000 + per year (based on experience and qualifications)
We are seeking an experienced IT Support Specialist to join our team! You will play a vital role supporting the regional IT operations and project implementations within commercial buildings. Specifically, you will be supporting the building monitoring and control systems (BMC) and the IT infrastructure that they rely on (e.g., building automation systems, advanced metering systems, physical access control systems, lighting control systems, etc.). Your support will help maximize the operational efficiency and reduce the overall energy consumption of these commercial buildings to ensure our clients sustainability goals are met.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide tier -2 technical support of building monitoring and control (BMC) devices/consoles, IT infrastructure, and general BMC application/server support, escalating as needed.
- Assist in the physical installation and troubleshooting of various IT devices (e.g., switches, routers, servers, workstations, laptops), as necessary.
- Act as IT liaison and technical point of contact for vendors, property managers, and on-site personnel.
- Coordinate and facilitate BMC integration/implementation projects by participating in project planning, documenting requirements related to new implementations, and responding onsite, as necessary.
- Survey BMC systems and network infrastructure at various buildings.
- Modify/develop network diagrams (using Microsoft Visio) and supporting documentation, as needed.
- Travel frequently within the region (Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota, Utah, and Wyoming) and occasionally within the CONUS to support client buildings in the non-local area.
KEY REQUIREMENTS:
- Prior experience in tier-2 IT support (remote and on-site).
- Hands-on experience with physical hardware, including racking, stacking, and installation of network components.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows Desktop and Server Operating Systems.
- Solid understanding of networking technologies, including TCP/IP, NetBios, DHCP, WINS, DNS, and LDAP.
- Working knowledge of Windows IIS web services.
- Working knowledge of MS SQL Server.
- Working knowledge of server hardware and uninterrupted power supply (UPS).
- Experience with ServiceNow and ITIL environments.
- Excellent communications skills and the ability to convey technical information to both technical and non-technical individuals (verbal and written).
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
- Familiarity with building automation and metering systems.
The following are preferred:
- Experience with building control systems and building automation and control (BAS) communication protocols (e.g., BACnet MSTP, BACnet IP, Modbus TCP/IP, Modbus MSTP, LonWorks, and Fox).
- Active Public Trust
- Working proficiency with MS Visio.
- Experience with SolarWinds.
Must be able to walk distances within large buildings/campuses and lift 25 lbs. Must be a U.S. citizen.
