Mammography Technician

Position: Mammography Technician

Confident Staff Solutions is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mammography Technician to join our team on a contract basis in Ontario, OR. As a Mammography Technician, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures to assist in the diagnosis of breast diseases and abnormalities.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform mammography procedures using specialized equipment

- Position patients and adjust equipment to obtain the best possible images

- Ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures

- Monitor and record patient information and maintain accurate records

- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to interpret and analyze images

- Maintain and calibrate equipment to ensure accurate and high-quality images

- Educate patients on procedures and answer any questions or concerns

- Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols

- Keep up-to-date with advancements in mammography technology and techniques

Requirements:

- Proven experience as a Mammography Technician

- Valid ARRT certification in Mammography

- Knowledge of breast anatomy and pathology

- Ability to operate mammography equipment and software

- Excellent communication and patient care skills

- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment

- Flexibility to work on a contract basis
