Travel Nurse

Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Travel Nurse to join our team and take on temporary/contract assignments in the Atlanta, GA area. As a Travel Nurse, you will have the opportunity to work in a variety of healthcare settings and gain valuable experience while exploring a new city.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide direct patient care in accordance with established policies and procedures

- Monitor and assess patient's condition, and report any changes to the appropriate medical personnel

- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician

- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans

- Educate patients and their families on disease processes, treatment plans, and self-care techniques

- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records

- Adhere to infection control and safety protocols

- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members

- Demonstrate professionalism and ethical behavior at all times

Qualifications:

- Active RN license in the state of Georgia

- Minimum of 2 years of recent nursing experience in a hospital setting

- BLS/CPR certification

- ACLS certification (preferred)

- Strong clinical skills and ability to work independently

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Flexibility to travel and work in different healthcare settings

- Ability to adapt to new environments and work with diverse patient populations

- Must be able to pass background check and drug screening
