Our client is seeking an experienced Finance Director to oversee financial operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and provide leadership across core business functions. This role is ideal for a finance leader who thrives in a mission‑driven, patient‑focused environment and enjoys working closely with executive leadership to support organizational goals.
The Finance Director reports directly to the Chief Executive Officer and plays a key role in financial planning, budgeting, audit coordination, and departmental leadership.

Responsibilities:
- Perform additional duties as assigned by executive leadership.
- Manage internal and external audit activities and ensure timely resolution of findings.
- Participate in organizational initiatives and contribute to cross‑functional decision‑making.
- Develop and implement departmental plans, performance standards, and operational procedures.
- Oversee budgeting processes, including preparation, monitoring, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Monitor departmental performance related to service delivery, quality, compliance, and operational efficiency.
- Ensure proper handling of confidential and sensitive information in accordance with healthcare regulations.
- Foster a collaborative, growth‑oriented environment that supports team development and high performance.
- Provide leadership in staffing activities, including hiring, onboarding, performance evaluation, coaching, and professional development.
- Lead the finance department's daily operations, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, regulatory requirements, and ethical standards.
Qualifications (Must-Haves)
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent professional experience.
- Prior experience leading teams in a healthcare or similarly regulated environment.
- Demonstrated understanding of healthcare regulatory and compliance standards, including HIPAA.
Preferred Skills:
- Ability to plan, organize, and oversee multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to communicate complex information to leadership and stakeholders.
- Experience managing varied and complex operational or financial challenges.
- Proficiency with spreadsheets, financial systems, and business software tools.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data, ratios, and trends.
- Experience applying organizational policies, procedures, and business office standards.
- Background in staff management, including performance oversight and corrective action.
