Our client is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician II to support their manufacturing operations by performing multi‑craft maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair on production equipment. This role focuses on equipment reliability, preventive maintenance, and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical and electrical skills, thrives in a fast‑paced industrial environment, and is confident working on complex machinery.

Work Schedule: 11:00PM–7:00AM | 3rd Shift

Requirements:

Equipment Maintenance & Troubleshooting

  • Install, align, and adjust mechanical drive components.
  • Test electrical systems using meters such as voltmeters and ohmmeters.
  • Diagnose mechanical and electrical equipment issues using systematic troubleshooting methods.
  • Perform repairs on motors, conveyors, gearboxes, drive systems, and other production machinery.
  • Repair or replace wiring, receptacles, switch boxes, conduits, lighting, and related components.

Preventive & Predictive Maintenance

  • Complete assigned PM tasks, including major service and equipment overhauls.
  • Maintain lubrication schedules and ensure proper functioning of all moving components.
  • Document maintenance activities in the CMMS to support historical tracking and future planning.

Continuous Improvement

  • Participate in problem‑solving teams and improvement initiatives.
  • Train and mentor junior technicians and operators on proper equipment care.
  • Recommend process or equipment improvements based on observed performance.

Safety & Compliance

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
  • Follow all safety procedures and report unsafe conditions immediately.
  • Support compliance with company environmental and operational standards.

Qualifications/Must-Haves:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to read and use precision measuring devices.
  • Willingness to complete a 2–2.5 hour online technical assessment.
  • Minimum 5 years of industrial manufacturing maintenance experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics, technical drawings, and OEM manuals.
  • Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment (drill press, band saw, etc.)
  • Experience using CMMS systems and basic computer applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Preferred Skills:

  • 2‑year technical degree or equivalent training.
  • Experience mentoring or training other technicians.
  • Background in mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to work safely in an industrial environment.
  • Ability to lift, bend, climb, and stand for extended periods.
  • Ability to work around moving machinery, noise, and varying temperatures.
