Our client is seeking a Finance Business Transformation Manager to lead critical initiatives to modernize Finance operations during a major ERP transformation. This role focuses on redesigning processes, enabling automation, improving data and workflow structures, and supporting Finance teams as they transition from manual, Excel‑driven work to scalable, system‑based operations. The position partners closely with Finance leadership, Accounting, Revenue Cycle, Budgeting, IT, and operational teams to ensure successful end‑to‑end implementation and adoption of new processes and technologies.

Requirements:

Finance Process & Systems Transformation

  • Oversee conversion readiness for all Finance‑related data sets.
  • Lead transformation efforts across people, processes, and technology to support new data models, analytics, and operating structures.
  • Prepare Finance teams for the shift from manual workflows to automated, system‑driven processes.
  • Redesign Finance processes to improve scalability, efficiency, compliance, and workflow standardization.
  • Align Finance, Accounting, Revenue Cycle, and IT operations to support ERP/PULSE deployment.

Cross‑Functional Partnership & Readiness

  • Coordinate readiness activities across Finance, Revenue Cycle, and Pharmacy to streamline patient and pharmacy revenue cycle workflows.
  • Support initiatives to shorten and modernize the month‑end close through automation and improved accuracy.
  • Reduce reliance on Excel and eliminate shadow systems by driving system‑based process redesign.

Change Management & Adoption

  • Partner with Implementation Teams, Change Management, Organizational Learning, and the PMO to support training, communication, and post‑go‑live adoption.
  • Ensure alignment between business requirements and system capabilities throughout the implementation lifecycle.
  • Support Finance leaders and staff through pre, mid, and post‑implementation phases with process education and workflow ownership.

Compliance, Controls & Documentation

  • Develop and maintain documentation including: COSO‑aligned internal control narratives, RACQI (Responsible, Accountable, Consulted, Informed, Quality Impact) documentation, Future‑state process maps, flowcharts, and SOPs.
  • Lead improvements in daily financial operations and reduce process variation.
  • Collaborate with Supply Chain and Warehouse Management Systems teams as needed (without direct accountability for SCM processes)

Qualifications/Must-Haves:

  • Background in process improvement, workflow redesign, and change management.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to manage cross‑functional expectations.
  • Experience leading Finance transformation initiatives in complex, multi‑department environments.
  • Strong understanding of accounting operations, revenue cycle processes, and financial reporting.
  • Hands‑on experience with ERP implementations (Oracle preferred; other Tier 1 ERPs acceptable)
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with technical teams, operational leaders, and Finance staff.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field required; MBA or relevant certification (CPA, CMA, PMP) preferred.
  • 7–10+ years of Finance, Accounting, or Business Transformation experience, including ERP implementation and process redesign in complex environments.
