About the job Assembler – Electrical & Mechanical Manufacturing
Our client is seeking Assemblers to support production operations by performing hands‑on assembly, testing, and packaging tasks within a fast‑paced industrial environment. This role is ideal for candidates with prior manufacturing experience who can follow detailed work instructions, maintain strong attendance, and perform physical duties throughout the shift.
The Assembler is responsible for operating production equipment, assembling electrical or mechanical components, performing basic testing, and preparing finished goods for shipment. This role requires attention to detail, consistent reliability, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities:
- Use hand tools, power tools, and measuring devices safely and effectively.
- Inspect materials and finished goods to ensure they meet quality specifications.
- Set up and adjust small production fixtures or equipment based on job requirements.
- Support material handling tasks such as staging, loading, or organizing products.
- Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow all housekeeping and 5S standards.
- Communicate part shortages, equipment issues, or workflow concerns to supervisors.
- Perform basic electrical or mechanical testing to verify product continuity and functionality.
- Prepare and package finished products into sleeves, cartons, or containers as required.
- Operate production line equipment according to established standards and safety procedures.
- Assemble, fit, and mount components following written instructions, diagrams, or verbal direction.
Qualifications (Must-Haves)
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Strong attendance and dependability.
- Ability to lift up to 45 lbs. throughout the shift.
- Reliable transportation to the facility.
- Ability to read and understand English instructions.
- Ability to work independently or collaboratively as needed.
- Minimum 1 year of manufacturing or assembly experience.
- Ability to follow detailed work instructions and safety procedures.
- Must reside within a reasonable commuting distance of the facility.
Preferred Skills:
- Forklift experience or certification.
- Technical coursework or vocational training.
- Stand‑up workstation or stand‑up equipment experience.
- Familiarity with manufacturing systems or inventory software.
- Experience in electrical or mechanical assembly environments.
