Our client is seeking a Field Service Technician II to support commercial clients by troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining digital imaging equipment including copiers, printers, and multi‑function devices (MFPs). This role is ideal for a hands‑on technician who enjoys solving problems in the field, working directly with customers, and ensuring equipment uptime in a fast‑paced, service‑driven environment.

Responsibilities:

Technical Service & Repair

  • Identify and report equipment performance issues or failure trends.
  • Perform routine maintenance, diagnostics, and break/fix repairs on copiers, printers, and MFPs.
  • Ensure all assigned devices meet operational, performance, and quality standards.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to field service calls within an assigned territory.

Customer Support & Professionalism

  • Represent the company with strong communication, professionalism, and customer service.
  • Follow customer‑specific site protocols, including safety and health requirements.
  • Provide clear updates to customers and internal teams regarding service status and equipment needs.

Documentation & Compliance

  • Adhere to all company policies, safety standards, and quality procedures.
  • Maintain accurate service documentation, including Field Service Reports, parts usage, and expense logs.
  • Support a 24/7 customer environment, including rotating shifts and on‑call duties as required.

Qualifications (Must‑Haves)

  • HS Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to complete required new‑hire technical training.
  • 1–2 years of related technical or field service experience.
  • Ability to obtain customer‑required clearances for site access.
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record (territory travel required)
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and remain active for extended periods (walking, standing, kneeling)
  • Comfortable working in a 24/7 customer‑driven environment with rotating shifts and on‑call duties.
  • Basic understanding of internet/network environments (e.g., connecting devices, print queues)
