Our client is seeking an Environmental Services/Custodial Operations Manager to oversee 2nd‑shift operations within a hospital environment. This role is responsible for ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff while leading a frontline team and supporting key operational programs.
The ideal candidate brings strong leadership, hands‑on housekeeping or environmental services experience, and the ability to drive service excellence in a fast‑paced, patient‑focused setting.

Work Schedule: 2nd Shift | 10:00AM-6:00PM
Responsibilities:
- Foster a diverse, inclusive, and safety‑driven work environment.
- Operate the Unit Operating System to monitor workflows, audits, and performance metrics.
- Manage departmental projects and initiatives, tracking milestones, deadlines, and compliance requirements.
- Ensure regulatory readiness through documentation, safety practices, and adherence to hospital standards.
- Supervise and develop frontline staff including hiring, training, scheduling, coaching, and performance management.
- Support infection control coordination through proper cleaning protocols, rounding, and collaboration with clinical partners.
- Drive patient and client satisfaction by monitoring service quality, addressing issues, and ensuring timely follow‑through.
- Lead daily EVS operations for assigned hospital units, ensuring cleanliness, safety, and compliance with healthcare standards.
Qualifications (Must-Haves)
- Associate's degree or equivalent professional experience.
- Demonstrated career stability and progression in similar roles.
- Results‑driven mindset with a commitment to safety and quality.
- Ability to manage projects, monitor compliance, and meet operational deadlines.
- Computer proficiency and comfort using operational or compliance‑tracking systems.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and maintain accountability.
- Customer service orientation with experience improving guests, patients, or client satisfaction.
- Experience in healthcare, hospitality, long‑term care, or other regulated service environments.
- 2+ years of functional experience in housekeeping, custodial, or environmental services operations.
- 2+ years of management experience leading frontline staff in housekeeping, environmental services, custodial operations, or a closely related field.
