MRI Technologist (ARRT) – MRI Tech | Acute Care | Hot Springs, AR

Our client is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform high‑quality MRI examinations in an acute‑care environment, ensuring safe imaging practices, accurate diagnostic results, and compassionate patient care. This role works closely with radiologists and clinical teams to support timely diagnosis and exceptional patient experiences.

Onsite | No Visa Sponsorship | No Relocation Assistance

Work Schedule: Monday–Friday | 10AM–6PM | Occasional Call

Responsibilities:

• Participate in occasional on‑call rotations as assigned.
• Support a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Perform MRI examinations following established protocols and safety standards.
• Administer contrast media as ordered and monitor patients throughout the exam.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure proper use of imaging systems and equipment.
• Review patient histories and provider orders to ensure appropriate imaging and patient safety.
• Prepare and educate patients for MRI procedures, promoting comfort and cooperation.
• Evaluate image quality, adjust techniques as needed, and repeat scans when clinically necessary.

Qualifications (Must-Haves)

• ARRT certification (required)
• MRI board certification (preferred)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• State radiation operator license (required)
• Graduate of an approved imaging program.
• Excellent communication and patient‑care skills.
• Strong critical‑thinking and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Comfortable in fast‑paced or high‑acuity environments.
• Commitment to accuracy, safety, and high‑quality imaging.

Preferred Skills:

• Five (5) years of MRI experience (preferred)
• Experience in an acute‑care or hospital setting.
