Our client is seeking a Product Engineer to support production programs directly on the manufacturing floor, providing hands‑on engineering support across assigned product lines. This role partners closely with machining, assembly, and operations teams to maintain product integrity, improve processes, and support all phases of the product lifecycle—from development through mature production.
You will work independently day‑to‑day while collaborating with senior manufacturing engineers and cross‑functional teams as needed.

Responsibilities:
- Support evaluation, selection, and implementation of new equipment and tooling.
- Support program goals, occasionally requiring additional hours during peak demand.
- Track and improve key operational metrics related to quality, throughput, and efficiency.
- Troubleshoot production issues and deliver actionable guidance to operations personnel.
- Travel to vendors for equipment evaluation and to customers for NPI or technical reviews.
- Maintain product integrity through documentation control, issue resolution, and continuous improvement.
- Provide daily technical support to machining and assembly teams to ensure efficient, high‑quality production.
- Participate in technical discussions with customers regarding design updates, manufacturability, and production improvements.
- Develop and maintain clear production documentation, including work instructions, assembly sheets, setup sheets, MPPs, and engineering memos.
Qualifications (Must-Haves)
- Demonstrated experience creating or maintaining production documentation.
- Strong communication skills for cross‑functional and customer‑facing interactions.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and contribute to technical design elements.
- Experience working in machining environments with exposure to CNC operations and complex assemblies.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or 5+ years of hands‑on experience in a high‑tech manufacturing environment.
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with CAD tools (SolidWorks, Inventor, CATIA, NX, etc.)
- Bachelor of Technology in Engineering with 2+ years of relevant experience.
- Exposure to CNC programming, CAM workflows, or machine‑control interfaces.
- Experience supporting NPI, production release, or continuous improvement initiatives.
Work Environment & Expectations:
- Hands‑on role in a high‑tech machining environment.
- Requires comfort working directly on the manufacturing floor.
- Typical split: 60% floor | 40% office, with occasional office‑heavy project periods.
