Our client is seeking an experienced Cath Lab Technician/Special Procedures Technologist to join a high‑performing cardiovascular team. In this role, you will assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures, support hemodynamic monitoring, and ensure safe, efficient operation of imaging and monitoring equipment.
This position is ideal for a skilled RCIS or ARRT‑CV technologist who thrives in a fast‑paced procedural environment and is confident working with minimal supervision.

Location: Cypress, TX (Onsite)
Requirements:
- Perform blood gas analysis and related diagnostic testing.
- Maintain cath lab equipment, supplies, and room readiness.
- Support patient care before, during, and after procedures.
- Serve as a resource and mentor to less experienced staff.
- Participate in continuing education and department initiatives.
- Follow all safety, infection control, and radiation protection protocols.
- Operate imaging, recording, and hemodynamic monitoring equipment.
- Document patient data and procedural details accurately in the EMR.
- Interpret ECG patterns, dysrhythmias, and hemodynamic data during procedures.
- Assist physicians during cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures as a scrub, circulator, or monitor tech.
Qualifications/Must-Haves:
- BLS certification.
- Ability to lift, move, and position patients with team assistance.
- One of the following credentials (required): RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist), ARRT‑CV (Cardiovascular‑Interventional Radiologic Technologist) or ARRT‑R/MRT with cardiovascular experience.
- Graduate of an accredited program in Radiologic Technology or Invasive Cardiovascular Technology.
Preferred Skills:
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Strong understanding of sterile technique and radiation safety.
- Ability to work independently in a high‑acuity procedural environment.
- 5+ years of experience as a Cath Lab or Special Procedures Technologist.
- Experience in diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures, hemodynamic monitoring and scrubbing and circulating.
