Our client is seeking a Echocardiology Technician to perform high‑quality cardiac ultrasound examinations in an acute‑care environment, supporting accurate diagnosis and timely patient care. This role works closely with cardiologists and clinical teams while maintaining a strong focus on patient safety, image quality, and workflow efficiency.

Onsite | No Visa Sponsorship | No Relocation Assistance

Work Schedule: Monday–Friday | 6:30AM–5PM | Call Rotation (approximately 50/50 nights and weekends)

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Participate in call rotations, including nights and weekends.
  • Operate, troubleshoot, and maintain ultrasound equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Educate and prepare patients for procedures, promoting comfort and cooperation.
  • Administer contrast media when ordered and monitor patient status throughout the exam.
  • Analyze imaging results, identify quality issues, and repeat or adjust studies as needed.
  • Accurately document findings, enter reports, and transmit imaging results in a timely manner.
  • Perform echocardiograms and related cardiac ultrasound procedures in accordance with professional standards and departmental protocols.
  • Review patient histories and provider orders to ensure appropriate imaging and patient safety.

Qualifications (Must-Haves)

  • Carotid ultrasound training (preferred)
  • Cardiac Sonography training (required)
  • Associate's degree in a related field (preferred)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required)
  • Excellent communication and patient‑care skills.
  • Strong critical‑thinking and clinical judgment skills. 
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Commitment to accuracy, safety, and high‑quality imaging.
  • Comfortable in fast‑paced, high‑stress clinical environments.
  • Echo Registry certification (preferred); registry‑eligible candidates considered with requirement to obtain certification within one year.
