Our client is seeking a Echocardiology Technician to perform high‑quality cardiac ultrasound examinations in an acute‑care environment, supporting accurate diagnosis and timely patient care. This role works closely with cardiologists and clinical teams while maintaining a strong focus on patient safety, image quality, and workflow efficiency.
Onsite | No Visa Sponsorship | No Relocation Assistance
Work Schedule: Monday–Friday | 6:30AM–5PM | Call Rotation (approximately 50/50 nights and weekends)
Responsibilities:
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Participate in call rotations, including nights and weekends.
- Operate, troubleshoot, and maintain ultrasound equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Educate and prepare patients for procedures, promoting comfort and cooperation.
- Administer contrast media when ordered and monitor patient status throughout the exam.
- Analyze imaging results, identify quality issues, and repeat or adjust studies as needed.
- Accurately document findings, enter reports, and transmit imaging results in a timely manner.
- Perform echocardiograms and related cardiac ultrasound procedures in accordance with professional standards and departmental protocols.
- Review patient histories and provider orders to ensure appropriate imaging and patient safety.
Qualifications (Must-Haves)
- Carotid ultrasound training (preferred)
- Cardiac Sonography training (required)
- Associate's degree in a related field (preferred)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required)
- Excellent communication and patient‑care skills.
- Strong critical‑thinking and clinical judgment skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Commitment to accuracy, safety, and high‑quality imaging.
- Comfortable in fast‑paced, high‑stress clinical environments.
- Echo Registry certification (preferred); registry‑eligible candidates considered with requirement to obtain certification within one year.
