Our client is seeking an experienced Diesel Technician to join a small, high‑performing team. This is a first‑shift position with no nights or weekends, offering steady work, a supportive environment, and ongoing technical training. The ideal candidate is a skilled, self‑directed technician with strong diagnostic ability and experience of performing major repairs on diesel engines and heavy‑duty trucks.

Onsite | No Visa Sponsorship | No Relocation Assistance

Work Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30AM–4:30PM or 8:00AM–5:00PM

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct road tests when required to verify repairs.
  • Participate in ongoing training and skill development.
  • Document all work performed and recommended services.
  • Maintain an organized, efficient workflow and adhere to all safety procedures.
  • Perform diagnostics and repairs on heavy‑duty diesel trucks in accordance with industry and OEM standards.
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, driveline components, steering, suspension, and brake systems (air & hydraulic)
  • Complete major component work including engines, transmissions, differentials, clutches, and related assemblies.
  • Install and replace injectors, pistons, liners, cylinder heads, bearings, oil pans, and other components.

Qualifications (Must-Haves)

  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Ability to use computer‑based diagnostic tools.
  • Strong diagnostic and electrical troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to obtain a Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
  • Must have a personal tool set appropriate for heavy‑duty repair work.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; vocational/technical training preferred.
  • 5+ years of hands‑on experience working with diesel engines and heavy‑duty trucks.
  • Experience with engines, transmissions, driveline, steering, suspension, and brake systems.

Preferred Skills:

  • ASE certifications.
  • EPA 608/609 certification.
  • OEM training or certifications.
  • Experience with major engine platforms (e.g., Cummins, International, or similar)
