Our client is seeking a Contract Manager to play a key role in supporting large‑scale energy and infrastructure construction projects by leading contract development, negotiation, commercial risk assessment, and post‑award administration. This position manages high‑value EPC and construction agreements, ensures compliance with commercial and regulatory requirements, and provides strategic guidance to project teams and executive stakeholders.

Contract Duration: 6 months | W2
Please Note: Candidates must currently live within a 30–60 minute commute of the worksite
Responsibilities:
- Support financial and commercial analysis, including cash‑flow impacts, billing, and compliance requirements.
- Prepare executive‑level summaries, reports, and presentations on contract status, risks, costs, and key milestones.
- Oversee contract performance, track deliverables, manage change orders and claims, and support dispute resolution.
- Provide subject‑matter expertise on EPC contracting, design‑build agreements, and large capital project procurement strategies.
- Lead the drafting, negotiation, redlining, and execution of complex EPC and construction contracts, amendments, and commercial agreements.
- Conduct commercial risk analysis, including indemnity reviews, liability assessments, insurance requirements, and change‑order evaluations.
- Manage the full contract lifecycle from pre‑award development through execution, administration, performance monitoring, and closeout.
- Collaborate with project management, procurement, engineering, legal, and finance teams throughout the solicitation and post‑award phases.
Qualifications (Must-Haves)
- Strong experience drafting, negotiating, and administering EPC contracts.
- 10+ years of progressive contract management or contract analysis experience.
- Proficiency with contract management systems, MS Office, and financial analysis tools.
- 3–5+ years supporting large EPC, industrial construction, or major infrastructure projects.
- Experience supporting high‑value or large‑scale capital projects with executive‑level visibility.
- Demonstrated ability to manage change orders, claims, commercial risk, and contract performance.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work across technical, commercial, and leadership teams.
Preferred Skills:
- Advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., CPCM, NCMA)
- Experience in power generation, utilities, oil & gas, or energy infrastructure projects.
- Educational backgrounds in Business, Law, Finance, Engineering, Paralegal Studies, Communications, or related fields.
