Our client is seeking a Senior Oracle ADF Developer to design, develop, enhance, and support enterprise applications built on Oracle ADF 12c. The role requires strong hands‑on experience with ADF, J2EE, Oracle SOA/BPEL, PL/SQL, and enterprise application servers. This position includes both development and production support responsibilities and requires close collaboration with business analysts, onsite/offshore teams, and cross‑functional technical groups.

Contract Duration: 6 months | W2

Requirements:

  • Support deployments and application operations across environments.
  • Develop, enhance, and maintain applications using Oracle ADF 12c and Oracle JDeveloper.
  • Build and support J2EE/Web ADF applications deployed on WebLogic, JBoss, WebSphere, or Tomcat.
  • Analyze production incidents, identify root causes, and implement code fixes.
  • Participate in requirement discussions with business analysts and translate needs into technical solutions.
  • Implement enhancements, bug fixes, and performance improvements in ADF applications.
  • Collaborate with onsite and offshore teams, explaining requirements, design, and functionality.
  • Review business requirements, identify gaps, and ensure alignment with technical design.
  • Provide clear communication to management regarding status, risks, and issues.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to best practices.

Qualifications/Must-Haves:

  • Advanced PL/SQL and SQL development skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with distributed teams.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • 4–5 years of experience specifically with Oracle ADF 12c.
  • Strong experience with Oracle JDeveloper, Oracle SOA, and Oracle BPEL.
  • 8+ years of hands‑on Oracle Application Development Framework (ADF) experience.
  • Strong experience developing J2EE/Web ADF applications using WebLogic, JBoss, WebSphere, or Tomcat.
  • Experience supporting production applications and performing root‑cause analysis.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred; equivalent hands-on experience in Oracle ADF development and related technologies can substitute degree.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in large enterprise IT environments.
  • Familiarity with distributed systems and integration frameworks.
  • Experience mentoring junior developers or guiding small technical teams.
