Connect Energy partners with a consultancy firm to look for a Lead Fire Engineer for their upcoming project in Singapore. 

Responsibilities

• Responsible for developing and implementing fire protection strategies, systems and protocols to ensure the safety and integrity of the facility are met. 
• Design fire prevention and suppression systems, conducting risk assessments and providing expert guidance on fire safety measures to mitigate potential hazards. 
• Collaborate with architects, engineers and regulatory authorities to ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards and regulations
• Oversee the installation, testing and commissioning of fire suppression systems to ensure compliance with design specifications.
• Develop comprehensive emergency response plans and procedures to address fire incidents, leaks, spills, and other emergency response in the plant.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and facilitate regulatory inspections and audits as necessary

Requirements

• Degree in Fire Protection Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related field. 
• Minimum 15 years relevant experience in LNG/ FSRU preferred
• Must have fire fighting engineering in FEED/EPC experience for LNG process facility
• Willing to take 18 - 24 months contract
