Assistant HR Manager

 Job Description:

To support HR Manager in all HR aspects as below.

Areas of responsibility

Health, Safety and Environment (HSE)

  • Observe HSE requirement and become a natural part of daily duties.
  • Communicate HSE objectives to the personnel under the supervision.
  • Make responsibilities as described in HSE my responsibility are known to the personnel under department management.
  • Maintain safe working environment within areas of responsibility.

Quality and Policy

  • Implement quality standards and ensure that the work is done to the specified quality.
  • Input to endorsement report within defined area of responsibility.
  • Comply with company and project strategies and philosophies.
  • Be an advisor on Thai labour law concerns.

Technical, Supervision and Communication

  • Manage and administrate overall Human Resources job functions and department activities.
  • Implement and implant company philosophy and policy including department strategy to own personnel in daily routine job.
  • Establish, implement, and maintain procedures and work instructions required within areas of responsibility.
  • Work closely with various departments on a consultancy role, assisting line managers to understand and implement people management, development, policy, procedure, related laws etc.
  • Establish recruitment strategy and method to fulfilled manpower requirement.
  • Develop and maintain recruitment and interview criteria by coordinate with line manager.
  • Establish staff development program according to company strategy and objective.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor development and training program within the company.
  • Manage, and maintain compensation and benefits policy to ensure its associate organizations objectives, culture, philosophy and comply with, compete against the market in the same industrial sector.
  • Ensure that the company activities that related to employee comply with all related laws and regulations.
  • Ensure that valid required legal document completion for both local and overseas staff and visitors to work legally when work at assigned location.
  • Manage and prepare periodic reports for management team as necessary or requested to track strategic goal accomplishment.
  • Prepare department budget and monitoring within Human Resources Department.
  • Keep own personnel regularly informed of the company's activities and seek such information.
  • Give own personnel updated job descriptions when necessary which clearly define their areas of responsibility, and check that their responsibilities are being discharged.
  • Keep own personnel informed of developments and goals.
  • Ensure that responsibility for personnel is discharged in accordance with the company's management principles.
  • Attempt to prevent complaints and conflict.
  • Make relevant decisions willingly and keep own personnel informed of the progress of their work and what opportunities are available.
  • Provide criticism, but also provide recognition when work has been executed in a good manner.
  • Provide own personnel's work criticism or personnel circumstances in a relevant, positive form and must not be given in the presence of others.
  • Reports to superior on work status and anticipate critical activities which might have an effect on project/job execution.

Progress and Productivity

  • Ensure that targets within areas of responsibility are met.
  • Ensure that employees execute work within planned budget.
  • Maintain optimum manning levels with the right qualifications within each area of responsibility.
  • Ensure resources are fully utilised.
  • Ensure that all the work performed is in compliance with Company's Code of Conduct and promotes Company's ethical standards
