Connect Energy is urgently looking for the following position to join one of the renown engineering and operation company specialized in FPSO. 

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the development, implementation and application of Processes related to Regulatory Compliance (RC) with an emphasis on specialized technical support for RC requirements for all affected departments
• Provide technical expertise and support to incorporate all applicable legal requirement during the BID Phase.
• Provide technical expertise and support to incorporate all applicable legal requirement on procurement and engineering design
• Provide a technical expertise and support to ensure the design is complying legal requirements so that no rework is done at later stage close to completions.
• Provide technical expertise for latest regulations and ensure all legal requirements are understood by relevant department.
• Support the projects to incorporate the legal requirements in alignment with 3000 IMS guides
• Develop/Incorporate the legislation in the documents such as: ITR & FAT (Corporate Level) and others corporate process (if required).
• To act as a Gatekeeper to reiterate and reinforce the applicable standards during engineering phase and develop a check list to comply.
• To support Company Technical Authority related to Machinery and Equipment Safety / Electrical from assistance legal compliance points of view.
• To define, develop and implement specific procedures based on local legislation to guide projects.
• Identify regulatory compliance gaps and apply continuous improvement to mitigate any risks throughout the Corporate Procedure and lesson learnt procedure.
• To define and develop best-practice procedures for compliance and risk mitigation and ensure such improvement.
• Ensure project technical alignments, by participating in the clients Regulatory & Compliance meetings.
• Advocate and promote our Regulatory Compliance Vision to internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

• Min. Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Safety)
• Minimum 10 years of related industry experience, preferably from Oil and Gas Industry
• Minimum 8-10 years of experience of Regulatory Compliance processes.
• Large experience in technical support focused on the interpretation and implementation of regulations in all phases of the project (Design, Construction, Commissioning)
• Technical knowledge of specific standards related to machines and equipment.
• Experience and extensive knowledge in ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISM Code and
• International regulations such as MARPOL, SOLAS, API, IOGP, NFPA
• Experience and extensive knowledge of Brazilian Occupational Health and Safety, Operational Safety, ANP, IBAMA, etc. laws and regulations are essential.
• Desirable: Project Monitoring & Controlling with Power BI and associate tools
