IT Support Specialist-Erie, PA
Our client is seeking several IT Support Specialists from junior up to senior level professionals. If you have IT infrastructure experience and enjoy supporting clients both remotely and in-person, send us your resume.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond promptly to support requests by opening, managing, and resolving service tickets, as well as addressing additional client inquiries
- Deliver technical expertise across IT infrastructure and network administration for a variety of clients, both on-site and remotely
- Maintain and support computer systems (Windows and macOS), network infrastructure, VPN connections, VoIP systems, and data backup solutions
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot hardware and peripheral devices including monitors, keyboards, printers, and related components
- Configure, manage, and deploy firewalls, switches, and other networking equipment
- Monitor client environments to proactively identify and resolve issues, ensuring maximum uptime and system performance
- Plan and execute system upgrades, security patches, and migrations with minimal disruption to client operations
- Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, including scheduling service, providing status updates, and delivering solution progress reports
- Create and maintain clear documentation for technical procedures, configurations, and project implementations
- Manage the scope and delivery of both internal and client-facing IT projects
- Perform additional duties as assigned in support of client needs and team objectives
Qualifications
- Relevant IT experience required; Associates or Bachelors degree preferred. Managed Services Provider (MSP) experience is a plus
- Professional certifications such as MCSE, MCSA, or CCNA are a plus
- Proficiency in configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting hardware and IT infrastructure components
- Experience administering Microsoft 365 environments
- Solid understanding of networking principles and hands-on experience with network administration
- Familiarity with PowerShell or similar scripting tools, multi-factor authentication, virtual networking, and VoIP technologies preferred
- Strong client service orientation with a track record of delivering exceptional support
- Collaborative mindset with enthusiasm for working in a team-oriented environment
- Highly organized, detail-focused, and capable of clear verbal and written communication
- Self-starter with a passion for technology and a dependable work ethic
- Reliable transportation, valid driver's license and auto insurance
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
