Join a leading private tertiary healthcare provider in Papua New Guinea. They are seeking an experienced Supply Chain & Sales/Marketing Manager with a strong background in medical and pharmaceutical procurement as well as hospital business development.
This is a dynamic leadership role that combines supply chain management, corporate sales, and strategic marketing, ideal for candidates with experience in hospital or healthcare settings.
Key Responsibilities
Supply Chain & Procurement:
- Oversee procurement and supply chain operations for medical and pharmaceutical products
- Ensure efficient inventory management, purchasing, and supplier coordination
- Conduct pricing analysis and vendor negotiations
Sales & Business Development:
- Drive sales and marketing activities across hospital services and diagnostic facilities
- Develop and execute business development strategies and growth plans
- Maintain and expand corporate client relationships
- Identify new business opportunities across PNG and Pacific regions
Marketing & Brand Management:
- Plan and implement digital marketing campaigns, social media strategies, and online promotions
- Organize hospital presentations, events, expos, and corporate engagements
- Manage website content and social media platforms
- Develop promotional programs and brand positioning initiatives
Market Intelligence & Strategy:
- Conduct market research, surveys, and competitor analysis
- Develop pricing strategies and business insights
- Prepare annual budgets, forecasts, and performance reports
Leadership & Team Management:
- Lead and motivate the sales and marketing team
- Develop incentive programs and training initiatives
- Conduct performance appraisals and staff development programs
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Liaise with corporate clients, consultants, and internal departments
- Collaborate with operations and clinical teams to align services with market needs
- Represent the hospital at industry events and media engagements
Requirements
- Degree in Supply Chain, Marketing, Business Administration, or related field
- Proven experience in hospital/healthcare supply chain and procurement (medical/pharma)
- Strong background in sales, marketing, and business development
- Experience managing corporate client relationships in a healthcare setting
- Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, multicultural environment
