Sales Manager (Airline Industry)

Location: Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea

Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic Sales Manager to lead sales strategies, cultivate and maintain client relationships, and drive growth in airline ticket sales. If you are a results-oriented leader with experience in the airline or travel industry, we'd love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets.

  • Build strong relationships with corporate clients, travel agencies, and partners.

  • Lead, train, and manage sales teams to deliver against KPIs.

  • Collaborate with revenue management and marketing to drive pricing and promotions.

  • Monitor sales performance, customer insights, and provide regular reporting to management.

  • Negotiate and manage contracts, agreements, and key accounts.

  • Optimize performance across sales channels including online, corporate, and travel agents.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Minimum 10 years experience in sales and marketing; at least 5 years in a leadership role.

  • Experience in the aviation, travel, or tourism industry.

  • Strong understanding of market trends, client management, and revenue generation.

  • Proficient in budgeting, performance tracking, and CRM tools.
