Fixed Income Trader

Our client, a leading Chinese investment bank is looking for a highly motivated Credit Trader to join their team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute trades in credit products, including corporate bonds, CDS, and other fixed income securities, with a focus on Asian markets
• Monitor and analyze market trends, economic data, and credit ratings to identify trading opportunities
• Provide market insights and trade ideas to clients
• Collaborate closely with clients to understand their investment strategies and provide tailored trading solutions
• Work closely with equity sales teams to identify cross-asset opportunities and enhance client offerings
• Manage risk and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies
• Prepare and present regular reports on trading performance and market conditions

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field
• Existing holder or eligible to be a SFC License Rep under SFC regulated activities for Type 1 and 4
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in credit trading or a related role within an investment bank or financial institution
• Proven ability to work under pressure and make quick, informed decisions
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in trading software and financial analysis tools
