Job Purpose

The Sales Manager of Energy Storage Fire Systems (ESS) APAC is responsible for developing and executing fire alarm systems selling to energy storage industry across Asia, excluding China (where they have separate dedicated support). The successful candidate will work closely with key business partners, marketing, manufacturing, customer service, and the senior management team to maximize growth, development and return on investment of the business today and in the future.

The sales approach begins by identifying customer demands before they become challenges. Our client committed to delivering customer success through their comprehensive expertise in fire alarm and releasing control. Manage all aspects of engagements with existing and new customers for their fire alarm systems organization. You will build relationships and understand customer business to provide appropriate products or solutions. You will define sales and growth strategy toward key customers while aligning with critical sales business objectives. You will identify opportunities and build credibility with customers and utilize your product knowledge to deliver the value proposition to the customers.

Highly competitive package consisting of basic salary made up with generous commission scheme and other benefits. The base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.

Required Skills & Abilities

  • Fluency in an Asian language and English is essential.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, acting with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality

  • Effective time management and organisational skills, with the ability to meet deadlines
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to prioritise and delegate tasks appropriately

  • Ability to work independently and travel extensively across Asia.
  • Proven experience in sales management, preferably in international or European markets

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 8 years experience in sales, ideally within fire protection, life safety, or industrial sectors
  • Bachelors degree in Business, Engineering, or a related discipline
  • Significant experience in a sales or account management related field
  • Familiarity with sales processes, customer service principles, and CRM systems (Salesforce experience desirable)
  • Comfort using technology including Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability and willingness to travel
