Millwright - Junior Apprentice

We are searching for a talented and motivated individual with experience working around heavy machinery in operation and participated in equipment repairs. You will be responsible for assisting Journeyman and Sr. Apprentices during disassembly,repairs and reassembly of large equipement.  You may be tasked with other duties such as hole watch, fire watch, tool and parts runner, cleaning and other tasks.  

You will be expected to consistently work towards gaining additional exerieence and knowledge through carefull observation, studying and performing tasks under the direction of senior presonnel.   .

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent qualification.

A minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Millwright or similar job.

In-depth knowledge of construction equipment and machinery.

Completion of an accredited Millwright certificate program.

Good communication skills.

Strong attention to detail with excellent mathematical skills.

Must be able to work well in a team environment.
