Position Title & Basic Details
We're looking for a DeltaV MES Automation Support Engineer based in North Carolina, US (Raleigh Durham area). This is a Contract position requiring 5+ years of relevant experience. A Bachelors degree in Engineering or a related field is strongly preferred.
Overview
In this role, you'll be responsible for supporting the system integration and product-specific configuration of DeltaV MES for Drug Substance Manufacturing facilities. The ideal candidate brings a solid foundation in Automation and DeltaV MES technologies and thrives in a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop DeltaV MES configurations for drug substance manufacturing.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Automation, Process Engineering, and Manufacturing to ensure seamless integration.Troubleshoot and resolve issues that arise during implementation and maintenance of DeltaV MES.
Follow best practices and stay current on industry trends to continuously improve outcomes.
Requirements
Education: Bachelors degree in Engineering or related field or equivalent experience.
Technical Expertise: Proficiency in Emerson DeltaV MES and Syncade; familiarity with MES
Core Functions and simulation tools is a plus.
Experience: Minimum 5 years designing, configuring, and implementing Manufacturing
Execution Systems; 3+ years direct Emerson DeltaV MES experience.
Soft Skills: Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in a cGMP facility or with FDA regulations, S88 batch model, ISA 95, GAMP5 and 21 CFR Part 11.
Programming skills in VB Script, XML/XPATH/XSLT and SQL/TSQL.
Knowledge of OSIsoft PI and InfoBatch.
