Position Title & Basic Details

We’re looking for a LOTO Coordinator based in Indiana. This is a Contract position requiring 25 years of relevant experience. A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is strongly preferred.

Overview

In this role, you’ll be responsible for developing and coordinating the Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) Program, creating LOTO Planning Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), coordinating LOTO plans with commissioning companies, and training personnel on LOTO procedures. The ideal candidate brings a solid foundation in utility systems and thrives in a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Be part of a team of engineers to develop the LOTO Program.

- Develop LOTO Planning SOP.

- Coordinate LOTO Plans with several commissioning companies.

- Manage Permit to Work procedures and conduct Job Hazard Analysis.

- Work in a construction environment and coordinate in a multi-company setting.

- Train C&Q personnel on LOTO Procedures.

Requirements

- Education: Bachelor’s degree in relevant field(s) or equivalent experience.

- Technical Expertise: Proficiency in Permit to Work procedures; familiarity with Job Hazard Analysis and utility systems is a plus.

- Experience: Minimum 25 years working on utility systems and construction coordination.

- Soft Skills: Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

- Chemical / Solvent handling experience.

- OSHA Training.

- Experience in a construction and multi-company environment.
