DCS Automation Engineer Upstream and Downstream (DeltaV)

Position Title & Basic Details

We’re looking for DCS Automation Engineers Upstream and Downstream based in North Carolina (Remote). This is a Contract position requiring 3-5 years of relevant experience. A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field is strongly preferred.

Overview

In this role, you’ll be responsible for running test batches, tech runs, and water runs, supporting early runs, and implementing changes in a Pharma Environment. The ideal candidate brings a solid foundation in Delta V DCS and thrives in a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and develop software procedural adjustments for Pharma DCS systems.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration.

- Troubleshoot and resolve issues that arise during testing and deployment.

- Follow best practices and stay current on industry trends to continuously improve outcomes.

Requirements

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.

Technical Expertise: Proficiency in Delta V DCS; familiarity with CIP and Pharma standards is a plus.

Experience: Minimum 3-5 years working on Delta V DCS projects in Pharma environments.

Soft Skills: Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

- Strong background in coding related to DCS systems.

- Experience with Hypercare for initial batch runs.

- Additional credentials or certifications in automation or DCS.
