Position Title & Basic Details

We’re looking for a Utility Commissioning Field Engineer based in Indiana. This is a Contract position requiring 25 years of relevant experience. A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field is strongly preferred.

Overview

In this role, you’ll be responsible for developing operation verification test scripts, startup logic, and handover prioritization, as well as assisting in startup activities such as flushing and pressure testing plans and system livening. The ideal candidate brings a solid foundation in utility systems startup for Pharma or Oil & Gas and thrives in a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop operation verification test scripts as part of a team of engineers.

- Help develop startup logic and handover prioritization.

- Assist in the creation of startup activities, including flushing and pressure testing plans and system livening.

- Execute installation verification and operation verification tasks.

- Understand and implement generic LOTO procedures.

- Coordinate and collaborate with vendors.

Requirements

- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.

- Technical Expertise: Proficiency in utility systems startup; familiarity with DeltaV, Kneat, and PQ is a plus.

- Experience: Minimum 25 years working on utility systems startup in Pharma or Oil & Gas.

- Soft Skills: Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with DeltaV.

- Experience with Kneat.

- PQ experience.
