Position Title & Basic Details

Were looking for a Building Management Systems Engineer based in New Jersey. This is a Full-Time position requiring 3-5 years of relevant experience. A Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field is strongly preferred.

Overview

In this role, youll be responsible for integrating a BMS system to monitor and control environmental conditions in a cold storage facility. The ideal candidate brings a solid foundation in BMS technologies and thrives in a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop BMS systems for cold storage facilities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with existing refrigeration and infrastructure systems.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues that arise during testing, deployment, and maintenance of the BMS.
  • Follow best practices and stay current on industry trends to continuously improve system outcomes.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • Technical Expertise: Proficiency in BACnet/IP, Modbus TCP/IP, and experience with temperature and refrigerant sensors; familiarity with cybersecurity protocols is a plus.
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years working on BMS integration projects in cold storage or similar environments.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with FDA 21 CFR Part 11 or GAMP 5 compliance.
  • Specific experience in integrating BMS with refrigeration systems using ammonia, freon, or CO.
  • Additional certifications in BMS or related fields.
