Position Title & Basic Details
We're looking for an Automation Engineer based in Ohio. This is a Contract position requiring 3-5 years of relevant experience. A Bachelors degree in Engineering or a related field is strongly preferred.
Overview
In this role, you'll be responsible for designing, implementing, and validating automated warehouse systems, including ASRS and AGVs within a GMP environment. The ideal candidate brings a solid foundation in automation engineering and thrives in a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop automated warehouse systems for ASRS and AGVs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration.
- Lead commissioning and qualification (CQV) processes.
- Ensure technologies and processes are functioning as planned.
- Coordinate with third-party vendors to schedule and manage activities, ensuring alignment with project goals and timelines.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelors degree in Engineering or related field or equivalent experience.
- Technical Expertise: Proficiency in automation systems design; familiarity with ASRS and AGVs is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum 3 years working on automated warehouse systems or similar technologies.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in GMP environments.
- Specific experience with ASRS and AGVs.
- Additional credentials or certifications related to automation engineering.
