Position Title & Basic Details
Were looking for a Utility Commissioning Lead based in Indiana. This is a Full-Time Contract position requiring 510+ years of relevant experience. A Bachelors degree in Engineering or a related field is strongly preferred.
Overview
In this role, youll be responsible for leading a team of engineers to develop operation verification test scripts, managing startup activities, and coordinating vendor efforts for utility systems in the Pharma or Oil & Gas sectors. The ideal candidate brings a solid foundation in utility commissioning and thrives in a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
Lead a team of engineers to develop operation verification test scripts.
Develop startup logic and handover prioritization.
Assist in the development of startup activities such as flushing, pressure testing plans, and system livening.
Understand and implement generic LOTO procedures.
Manage a team of Utility Commissioning Engineers for installation verification and operation verification execution.
Coordinate with vendors to ensure project milestones are met.
Requirements
Education: Bachelors degree in Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
Technical Expertise: Proficiency with DeltaV and Kneat; familiarity with PQ processes is a plus.
Experience: Minimum 5 years working on utility system startups in Pharma or Oil & Gas industries.
Soft Skills: Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with system livening and pressure testing plans.
Additional certifications in commissioning or related areas.
Experience managing vendor relationships.
