Position Title & Basic Details

Were looking for a Utility Commissioning Lead based in Indiana. This is a Full-Time Contract position requiring 510+ years of relevant experience. A Bachelors degree in Engineering or a related field is strongly preferred.

Overview

In this role, youll be responsible for leading a team of engineers to develop operation verification test scripts, managing startup activities, and coordinating vendor efforts for utility systems in the Pharma or Oil & Gas sectors. The ideal candidate brings a solid foundation in utility commissioning and thrives in a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of engineers to develop operation verification test scripts.

  • Develop startup logic and handover prioritization.

  • Assist in the development of startup activities such as flushing, pressure testing plans, and system livening.

  • Understand and implement generic LOTO procedures.

  • Manage a team of Utility Commissioning Engineers for installation verification and operation verification execution.

  • Coordinate with vendors to ensure project milestones are met.


Requirements

  • Education: Bachelors degree in Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.

  • Technical Expertise: Proficiency with DeltaV and Kneat; familiarity with PQ processes is a plus.

  • Experience: Minimum 5 years working on utility system startups in Pharma or Oil & Gas industries.

  • Soft Skills: Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with system livening and pressure testing plans.

  • Additional certifications in commissioning or related areas.

  • Experience managing vendor relationships.
