CIP Process Engineer

Position Title & Basic Details

We’re looking for a CIP Process Engineer based in North Carolina. This is a 12-month Contract position requiring extensive pharmaceutical industry experience in an engineering role. A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is strongly preferred.

Overview

In this role, you’ll be responsible for supporting troubleshooting CIP systems, leading issue resolution, maintaining CIP flow path drawings, and managing preventative maintenance plans. The ideal candidate brings a solid foundation in DeltaV troubleshooting and CIP system management and thrives in a dynamic project environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Support troubleshooting CIP systems as a subject matter expert

- Lead and drive issue resolution related to CIP systems

- Maintain highlighted CIP flow path drawings

- Support investigations associated with instrument out of tolerance events

- Generate Trackwise change controls and drive them to closure

- Generate preventative maintenance (PM) plans

- Identify spare parts based on vendor documentation

- Adapt to shifting week-to-week priorities in a dynamic project environment

Requirements

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.

Technical Expertise: Proficiency in DeltaV troubleshooting; familiarity with Washer and/or autoclave systems.

Experience: Extensive pharmaceutical industry experience in an engineering role, with a focus on CIP systems.

Soft Skills: Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with Trackwise or similar change control systems

- Specific experience with pharmaceutical CIP systems in a manufacturing setting

- Additional certifications in process engineering or related fields
