Responsible for managing and optimizing the procurement process within an organization. This involves forecasting demand, ordering materials, coordinating with Logistics, and ensuring that inventory levels meet
production and customer needs. The role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work closely with various departments, including production, logistics, and finance.

What you'll be working on
1. Demand Forecasting:
Analyze historical data, market trends, and sales forecasts to predict future material and product needs.
Collaborate with sales and production teams to adjust forecasts as needed.
2. Inventory Management:
Monitor inventory levels to ensure optimal stock without overstocking or understocking.
Implement inventory control measures to reduce waste and excess costs.
3. Order Placement:
Generate purchase requests based on inventory needs and production schedules.
Ensure that all orders are accurate, complete, and processed in a timely manner.
4. Cost Management:
Monitor and control procurement costs to stay within budget.
5. Logistics Coordination:
Coordinate with logistics and warehouse teams to ensure the timely delivery and receipt of materials.
Resolve any issues related to shipping, delivery delays, or damaged goods.
6. Data Analysis and Reporting:
Track and analyze procurement metrics, such as order accuracy, supplier performance, and inventory turnover.
Prepare regular reports for management on procurement activities and performance.
7. Collaboration:
Work closely with other departments, such as logistics, finance, and sales, to align purchasing activities with overall business goals.
What were looking for
- Open to candidates with at least 5 years of professional experience; prior work in a similar industry is desirable.
- Familiarity in supply chain management software and tools, including SAP or equivalent ERP systems and MRP software.
- Knowledge of procurement processes, inventory management, and logistics.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Attention to detail and a strong sense of accountability.
- Proficient in Microsoft office (Excel).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
Job Type: Full-time, Graveyard Shift (12MN-9AM OR 4AM- 1PM)
