Their flagship brand offers a diverse range of products, including cookware, appliances, decorative items, and household gadgets.
As an Accountant, you will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records while providing meaningful insights to support informed business decisions. This role combines hands-on accounting functions such as managing accounts payable and receivable, preparing journal entries, and reconciling accounts, with analytical responsibilities including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.

What you'll be working on:
- Maintain accurate financial records through the preparation and posting of journal entries and account reconciliations.
- Manage and process company accounts payable transactions, including invoice validation, vendor payments, and expense reports.
- Review and ensure appropriate documentation and approvals prior to payment processing.
- Prepare and process weekly check runs, ACH, and wire transfers, including payments to factories and manufacturers overseas.
- Reconcile monthly credit card statements, vendor accounts, and general ledger accounts.
- Monitor AP/AR aging, identify discrepancies, and ensure timely resolution and payment.
- Support month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring completeness and accuracy of financial data.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support management decision-making.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, irregularities, and opportunities for cost improvement.
- Support audits by preparing necessary documentation and reconciliations.
- Maintain vendor and financial records in compliance with GAAP and company accounting policies.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to improve financial processes and reporting accuracy.
- Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance.
- At least 4 years of experience in accounting, with exposure to both AP/AR and general ledger functions.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles (GAAP) and financial reporting.
- Hands-on experience with budgeting, cost analysis, and financial performance monitoring.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
- Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with a growth mindset and adaptability.
Preferred Skills
- Licensed CPA (Certified Public Accountant)
- Experience in wholesale or manufacturing industry
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software such as SAP or similar ERP systems.
- Experience working with US clients or supporting US-based accounting operations
