As a Logistics Operations Associate, you will help manage daily transport tasks, making sure deliveries arrive on time and any issues are handled properly. In this role, you will also support logistics operations by monitoring shipments, resolving problems, and maintaining good communication with team members and partners. You will help with managing costs, updating reports, and ensuring data is correct. This role is good for someone who is organized, can work under pressure, and knows how to use Excel.

What you'll be working on:

Transport Coordination & Issue Resolution

  • Help coordinate daily transport activities with different carriers to ensure smooth operations
  • Act as a point of contact for handling delivery issues, delays, and concerns
  • Monitor and follow up with carriers to ensure timely deliveries

Stakeholder Management

  • Build and maintain good relationships with carriers, customers, and team members
  • Share timely updates on delivery status and help manage expectations clearly

Invoice Review & Cost Control

  • Check and review transport invoices to make sure charges are correct
  • Identify and report any discrepancies between quoted and actual charges
  • Assist in preparing and sending transport quotes to customers

Reporting & Performance Monitoring

  • Support the preparation and analysis of transport reports to monitor performance
  • Track key KPIs such as on-time delivery, delivery issues, and ETA adherence
  • Highlight differences between actual delivery timelines and planned ETAs

What we're looking for

  • At least 1 year of experience in transport, logistics, or 3PL operations
  • Familiarity with carrier coordination and delivery workflows
  • Experience reviewing freight invoices and identifying discrepancies
  • Proficiency in TMS, WMS, and reporting tools
  • Advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting
  • Strong organisation and prioritisation skills
  • High attention to detail and data accuracy
  • Clear communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Proactive and solutions-focused approach
