About the job Wet Fire Designer
Are you an experienced and motivated wet fire systems designer ready to advance your career? This role gives you the opportunity to design and deliver high quality fire protection systems across commercial, industrial, and residential projects, including projects ranging from $2 million to $5 million and smaller-scale work. You will work on sprinklers, hydrants, hose reels, and water supply networks, producing Revit and CAD drawings, schematics, and hydraulic calculations, while ensuring full compliance with AS 2118, AS 2419, NCC, and other relevant standards. Relocation support will be considered for suitable candidates.

What You Will Do
- Design and deliver wet fire protection systems for a variety of projects.
- Produce Revit and CAD drawings, schematics, and hydraulic calculations.
- Ensure full compliance with Australian Standards, NCC, and fire protection regulations.
- Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and site teams to deliver safe and practical solutions.
- Take ownership of design challenges and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Work flexibly in a hybrid environment tailored to your lifestyle.
About You
- 2-3+ years' experience in wet fire system design.
- Strong knowledge of Australian Standards, NCC, and fire system compliance.
- Proficient in Revit (essential), with CAD and other design software experience advantageous.
- Experienced in hydraulic calculations for wet fire systems on projects $2-$5 million and smaller.
- Problem-solving mindset with strong attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- FPAS accreditation or relevant fire protection qualifications.
- Must have full Australian work rights without any restrictions.
