We currently have a vacancy for an IT Support Engineer based at our Milton Keynes office.

The Role:

Supporting our Group IT Manager, you will be part of a busy IT department who currently provide technical IT support to remote staff across the UK.

Key responsibilities:

· Telephone support for all IT devices used by office and mobile staff to include where necessary, remote assistance

· Occasional field-based IT support may be required of which occasional nights away may be necessary

· build and Intune computer and mobile hardware

· Assist with asset register tracking of all computer hardware and IT equipment

· Installation and maintenance of virus protection to include removal of viruses/malware from machines

· Creation and maintaining users on NetSuite and Entra

· Supporting the Network infrastructure where needed, including Starlink, Mobile and Wi-Fi

· Installation and maintenance of VoIP based phone system

· Supply, setup and assist with all mobile issues

· Support and configuration of M365 platform and including the occasional requirement for development

Perform security related patching, backup and restore activities

Liaise with third party vendors to provide a high level of support to users at Core Highways

The ideal candidate:

We are looking for someone with experience in a comparable role, good customer service skills and a technical understanding of Microsoft 365. A good understanding of mobile devices, including common faults and repairs, is essential. Knowledge of server OS, and hyper V environment would be advantageous but internal training will be provided. The successful applicant will also hold a full UK driving licence and have use of a vehicle. A positive attitude and willingness to think outside the box.
