About the Opportunity

Our client, a fast-growing technology consulting and analytics organization, is expanding its enterprise data and AI practice and seeking a Senior Lead – Snowflake & AI Engineering.

This is a high-impact leadership role focused on designing scalable Snowflake data platforms and building AI-powered conversational analytics solutions using LLM technologies.

You will lead architecture, mentor engineers, and deliver production-grade AI and data solutions for enterprise functions including HR, Sales, Finance, and Supply Chain.

Key Responsibilities

Snowflake Data Architecture & Engineering

• Design and optimize scalable data models (Star Schema, Snowflake Schema, Data Vault)

• Build high-performance ELT pipelines using Snowflake-native capabilities

• Implement RBAC, governance frameworks, and security policies

• Perform performance tuning, clustering optimization, and warehouse sizing

• Drive cost-efficient Snowflake architecture decisions

AI Engineering & LLM Implementation

• Develop and deploy AI agents using Snowflake Cortex LLM or similar platforms

• Design Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) frameworks on enterprise datasets

• Build vector embeddings and semantic search layers

• Implement prompt engineering strategies with enterprise guardrails

• Ensure explainability, compliance, and security of AI outputs

Conversational Analytics Development

• Build natural language-driven enterprise analytics solutions

• Deliver persona-based insights for business stakeholders

• Integrate structured and semi-structured data sources

• Partner with BI/UI teams to enable insight consumption

Technical Leadership & Delivery Ownership

• Lead a team of 3–6 engineers

• Provide architectural guidance and conduct code reviews

• Own end-to-end solution delivery (design to deployment)

• Participate in sprint planning and stakeholder communication

• Mentor junior engineers on Snowflake and AI best practices

Business Collaboration

• Translate functional requirements into scalable analytical solutions

• Develop KPI frameworks aligned to business objectives

• Identify AI-driven automation opportunities across enterprise functions

Required Qualifications

• 7–12 years of experience in Data Engineering / Analytics Engineering / AI Engineering

• 4+ years of hands-on Snowflake Data Warehouse experience

• Strong dimensional data modeling expertise

• Experience building conversational AI or RAG-based systems

• Hands-on experience with Snowflake Cortex LLM or similar LLM platforms

• Strong SQL and Python proficiency

• Experience with data governance and performance optimization

• Background working in Agile delivery environments

Preferred Qualifications

• Snowflake Certification

• Exposure to MLOps and model deployment practices

• Functional domain experience in at least two areas: HR, Sales, Finance, or Supply Chain
