About the Opportunity

Our client, a growing organization in the staffing and recruiting industry, is seeking a motivated Business Development Representative to drive new client acquisition and expand partnerships across the Lehigh Valley region.

This is a field-focused B2B sales role where success comes from building relationships directly with local decision-makers. You will work closely with an internal recruiting team to deliver tailored workforce solutions to businesses while developing and managing your own sales territory.

Key Responsibilities

  • Generate new business through direct B2B prospecting and in-person client engagement

  • Identify and pursue new opportunities within an assigned local sales territory

  • Conduct face-to-face meetings with decision-makers to present staffing solutions

  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with new and existing clients

  • Collaborate with recruiting teams to ensure successful talent placement for client needs

  • Develop and execute territory sales strategies

  • Track activity and opportunities using CRM systems

  • Prepare sales reports, proposals, and forecasts

  • Negotiate contracts and service agreements with clients

  • Attend local networking events and business meetings to expand market presence

Requirements

  • 2–4 years of B2B sales, business development, or account management experience

  • Proven success in outside sales, territory management, or client acquisition

  • Strong experience with lead generation, prospecting, and networking

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills

  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with internal teams

  • Experience using CRM platforms to manage pipelines and track performance

  • Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred

  • Prior experience in staffing, recruiting, or service-based sales is a plus
